Hiking in the Gran Paradiso Park
It is a not difficult and very interesting trek in the Gran Paradiso Park with the chance of seeing animals such as steinbacks and chamois, and enjoing wonderful views. The top of Gran Paradiso could be reached in five days.
Mountains' equipment and quite good physical fitness are required.
Hike to the top of Mont Blanc
Leave Chamonix, France and end up in Courmayeur, Italy. We spend five days to reach the top of Mt. Blanc after becoming acclimatised. We will cross the most spectacular glaciers staying in the refuges Requin, Torino, Cosmique, Gonnella.
During the week you receive a brief orientation course on safety on the glacier, use of crampons, ice axes and other equipment in order to avoid the dangers of excursions at high altitudes.
Hiking on the higher levels of Monte Rosa
Price: 750 euro p.p. including 5 days Guide UIAGM and Huts/half board. (Minimum pers. 4)
The chance to cross from Cervinia, Italy to Zermatt, Switzerland touching the peaks of the Alps including Breithorn, Castore, Liskamm and Monte Rosa at 4500 meters. The hike is not difficult in terms of climbing skills but demanding because of the altitude and the physical challenges that occur high in the mountains. Every day you reach more than 4000 metres in altitude and every evening we stop in a different refuge - Lambronecca, Sella, Gnifetti, Regina Margherita, Monte Rosa Hutte...
